What products are best to restore thinning hair for a 55 y/o woman?

My hair is thinning on the top & sides. It is very fine, brittle, & flyaway. I need a treatment that will save the hair that I have & restart new hair growth. Anyone know of any products that really work?

    I’ve heard that Nioxcin (not sure of the spelling) is really good. A friend of mine had the same problem and a hairdresser friend recommended it. You should be able to find it at.
