Check with your payment source, see if you have to be referred to a specialist, or can just go to one.
Sounds like hormones to me, but I am not a doctor. The gyn could diagnose it, treat it, but may prefer the endocrinologist does.
May want to see the gyn first, to rule out other causes than hormones.

The endocrinologist is your best bet. The problem is with hormones and sounds like you may also have polycystic overies.

I suggest the endocrinologist – they may want to check other hormone levels too like cortisol, androgens, thyroid and prolactin. Could be polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), or a pituitary thing, or maybe both.

It doesn’t hurt to see the dermatologist as well, since no matter what the cause, you want to get the hair loss treated ASAP. The good news is that if it is hormonal, it may be very treatable.

    Good luck!

    Gynecologist first.
