MY HAIRS THINNING ON ONE PART OF MY HEAD! HELP?
cpatino2011 asked:
Ok so I used to have thick as.s hair, im a 20 yr old female. a while ago maybe like 4 years ago i made a huge mistake and had my friend thin out my hair cause it was so thick!!! i mean its been 4 yrs and my hair should go back to normal but it didnt. there was a point where my hair was sooo thin a frail, until i started washing my hair with wheat germ shampoo and cold water. i cut out the gel and crap. My hair got a lot better. But for the past year now ive noticed the front of my hair on the right side is thinning like crazy! its just that spot! Im not sure if its because i havent been using the stuff i was using before, just because its expensive. I just but my old stuff yesterday and try to fix the problem. But does anyone know why this is happening? I really dont do too much damage to my hair like dye and all that. My hairdresser told me it could be from stress, and to take vitamin B. Ive been taking it for almost a month like 3 pills a day My nails are hard but it seems like my hair isnt getting any better. Idk whats triggering the hair loss. Can anyone tell me?

Maybe you should see a doctor just to make sure. But what I do is when all my hair are falling off because i dyed it blonde and my hair is not used to it so it end up falling off I bough hask placenta its a protein for hair, it only cost 5 bucks for a bottle of spray at Sally’s Beauty Supply, and it helped a lot, my hair got stronger and its not falling anymore. Maybe you can try that.

Besides the things you mentioned, some medications and/or hormonal changes can cause hair loss. Because you say it’s in one spot, though, I’m wondering if you either sleep on that spot or else are maybe combing it more roughly (maybe because it happens to be where the hand you use for combing/brushing tends to do more combing/brushing).
Elastics or hair accessories can break hair. If you pull it back in a way that puts more strain on that section of head, that could do it. Is there any chance you’re scrubbing that section of your face/head with a scratchy towel after a shower?
Once the hair has broken off enough (or not grown in) for you to notice it will take quite a while before it will seem to get back to normal.
Your hairdresser may or may not be trained to recognize this, but there’s the chance you have some skin condition in that spot on the head.

Use thickening cleansing agents. There are many shampoos and conditioners on the market that are geared towards helping an individual thicken her hair. They can be bought at hair salons or some drug stores. Nioxin and Rogaine are among the most popular ones. The key to success with these products is using them regularly.
