My hair is falling out?
~*Peaches~n’~Cream*~ asked:
All my life I’ve had very thick hair. But in November I suddenly noticed about..half my hair maybe a little more had been lost? It was still thick over the whole summer, and now it’s about half the amount (maybe even less) than it used to be. I don’t think there’s any particular spot I lost the most in but just overall a little everywhere. I’m only 15 years old and female…I’m healthy (work out – running, etc) and I don’t have any medical health problems as far as I know.

My hair is still pretty soft and shiny, and I’ve stopped using all hair products on it and I’m not using any straightners or other styling tools either since about.. the middle of November.
What can I do to prevent more hair loss and help grow more hair back?
I never dyed my hair before it’s just natural…

I would go ask you’re doctor. Just for him/her to check it out.
But yeah just use natural things on you’re hair e.g shampoo.

Create a video blog…instantly.
Maybe you have alopecia? An uncommon hairloss disease caused by stress and other things. Possibly your hair is sensitive to the bases in your shampoos and things. They say you shouldn’t shampoo your hair everyday because you will loose hair folicles.
**Baby shampoos aren’t as powerful as normal ones.
A lot of hair products like straightening, culring, blowdrying, etc can also cause damage and its better to let it go natural.
And hair products like sprays and lotion things to hold it in (unless its proven to help your hair grow or something) are bad if used everyday.
Ask your doctor about this, he/she will reccomend better shampoos. And he/she will reccommend vitamins that help hair grow faster. (i think vitamin a does that)

I had this problem a while ago from the constant damgage of blowdrying, straightening, etc
I bought some Dove Pro Therapy Shampoo and used it for about a week or two.
After a while, I purchased some Biolage Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner. While its a little pricy, it definately stopped the problem.
Also, try a conditioner that comes in hair dye kit. You can buy Clairol Nice n Easy conditioner and it will return your hair to a healthy state in days.
Good luck

did you bleach your hair or something cause that could explain it.
if not maybe it is just a genetic thing ask your parents when they started losing their hair. or maybe there are alot of pollutants where you live try cleansing your hair with a gentler shampoo
i suggest one for colored hair even though you dont color your hair they are gentler on your hair

hey I am 17 and last year that happened to me too.
except i have very thin hair to start with.
mine eventually stopped falling out. (thankfully without leaving me bald spots like it seemed it would) so I would say be nice to your hair. no straightening, tight ponys etc and wait it out. maybe check your diet and make sure you are eating healthy.
hope this helps

i would go check with a physician if i were you
though it is possible it could be damaged from all the products, etc
but just go see a doc to make sure

Dear friend, Hair falling is a global problem. Reasons for hair falling are
i) Age,
ii)Heridity,
iii) Ofcoarse diseases
But the most imporatant factor is
iv)Poor Maintainance
Here are some maintainance tips:
Apply some fresh Aloevera on your hair and leave it for 30 minutes before your bath. Use it daily untill you stop hair falling. This is a great solution to hair falling and I found some new hair also in the places where i lost the hair before years.
Tips to maintain a shining healthy hair:
1. Use a conditioner less shampoo and use to rinse your hair every day.
2. keep it always clean. that is very much important. Wash hair every time you sweat.
3. Always stimulate the skin beneath your hair while you take bath.
4. Don’t use so many chemicals and beauty products on your hair. Use herbal products.
