i would like to make wigs for cancer patients, who do i need to contact for more information?

    i really don’t know, but try asking am. cancer soc. i really , really appreciate what you’re doing and i’m sure all of the patients do, too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I don’t know if you can “make” the wigs but my daughter grows her hair out completely and cuts it every 2 years for this purpose. She found the following site and sends in her locks in a padded envelope. She even got me to do it last time!

    There are a couple rules on the site, no colored hair, hair must be 10 inches, etc. It is pretty simple to follow and most hair stylists will cut your hair for free if you tell them what it is for. It is a wonderful way to give to people in need, and it is only hair to us and will grow back, however for the patients who receive it, it is priceless :)
