Has anyone suffered hair loss from taking Benadryl?

I have had bloodwork and there are no liver or thyroid problems but I do have elevated levels of testosterone (normal being 2.8 and mine was 4.6). I was also taking Benadryl for at least 6 months, everyday to help control severve allergy symtoms. I found another person’s question online saying that after taking this drug for an extended period their hair texture changed and their hair began falling out. I am wondering or actually hoping that the hair loss is from the drug and can be reversed and not female pattern baldness. Can anyone help?

It could be but I’m really not sure. I take Benadryl everyday and have been for over a year and my hair still seems the same. Have you asked your doctor about this? They may know the answer. Good luck.
