Even if he gets just twice the amount ($30,000) and takes his share, you’ll still get $20,000 instead of $15,000.
If you already have a lawyer, just follow his advice. If you don’t have a lawyer, get one now.

It is a good thing they want to settle but I am sure it is not going to be the actual amount that you paid your medical bills. I suggest you get a good lawyer to handle the case for you and get the amount that you deserve. Here is a URL for a site that will give you contact info for a lawyer. Hope you get settlement soon.
