Are skinny faces on women considered to be masuline?

stargazingeyes1983 asked:

I noticed about Carrie Underwood’s weight loss someone said her “body looks good, but her face looks more pointy and sharp, so it looks more masuline”. I am very girly-looking, skinny but curvy, and I have a thin face, but am told to have very “delicate features” and this kind of makes me mad that people are always trying to say if you have a skinny face, and you’re a girl/woman, then your face is more masuline b/c I have a thin face, but delicate features and a small nose, and have never been told this and know I don’t. Also look at Jennifer Love Hewitt–she has a skinny face but is it manly? No. So why do ppl say this about women w/ skinny faces? It really depends on the woman and how her features look on her. Also, ppl say if you have a long nose, if you’re female, then that’s a masculine trait also…but I’ve seen girls with long noses who could never be mistaken for men, even with no hair. I think saying certain traits are “masculine or feminine” is just so stupid.

Any dude worried about how fat or skinny a woman’s face is…..loser….that’s all I gotta say

Dudes don’t go around saying “I really wanna ask that girl out, but her face is 3 centimeters too skinny”… nobody says that sh!t….you either look good to that particular guy, or you don’t….and I can promise you that any guy that is so critical of women that he points out how skinny or fat or whatever her face appears, isn’t getting laid anyways – so it doesn’t even matter

I knew a guy that would always have something negative to say about a girl’s look, even if she was really hot…..yeah, that dude ended up with a 4’9″ ugly Mexican chick with a pissy attitude

No, hollywood seems to prefer skinny faces I mean look at all the models. But to have a face is too skinny just looks unattractive.
